2010 – A Successful Year – How can we help in 2011?

Friday, January 21st, 2011

Hello Friends and Family,

Thank you all so much for your continued support last year.  2010 was a great year, with your help we provided clean water to those in need and saved many lives!  We hope to have an even better 2011 with your help. People are very generous during the holidays while there is an increased spirit of giving, but we forget quickly about the people in need when the holidays are over.  This is when we really need your help.  Please keep that spirit of giving alive by giving to those less fortunate .

We understand with the economy as it is, it may be difficult to give a monetary donation at this time.  There are other ways you can help.  Did you get a gift this holiday season that you just don’t love?  We sure could use it in our upcoming 2nd Annual “Drop in the Bucket Auction”.  We cannot accept your Aunt Gertrude fruit cake, but just about anything else goes. It may be a small gift card we can package with another item to make it a little more attractive.

Please help us make this year the best one yet.

 Franklin Evert

The Drop in the Bucket Auction

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

In March, we had our first The Drop in the Bucket Auction. We had great donations from Williams Lumber, Richard Petty driving school, N&S Supply, Davis Furniture, Hudson Valley  Diamonds and many more. Without the help we received from these companies, events like this are not possible. Water Without Borders made over $5,000 that night!  I would like to thank everyone that made this event a success. We hope you can join us at the next auction. It’s not too early to send us your items for auction #2, which is in the planning phase.
